Welcome to Chequer Creative - Join me Living Life in Colour
So what do I mean by living life in colour?
For me it’s savouring every moment, noticing the beauty all around me, and above all living a creative life.
‘Creativity is a habit, and the best creativity is the result of good work habits’
As we get older it is easy to think that opportunities for creativity are closing down whereas in fact they can be opening up.
it’s Autumn 2011. I’m 59 I will celebrate my 60th birthday in April. In some ways I am dreading it but in others it promises freedom. I would for instance be able to change or quit my job with the large public sector organisation I have worked for for over 30 years without my pension being affected.
Women in their sixties and older are doing remarkable things and this is a celebration of some remarkable women. Some of the women featured here have stared up a new project or learned a new skill, others are magnificent examples of how you can still life your life in colour even in your nineties – watch this space for new stories.
